Their professional achievements and struggles are discussed\, as well as interesting facts about their personal lives. See who inspires you! Learn about famous artists\, like abstract-expressionist painter Helen Frankenthaler and Amy Sherald (she painted Michele Obama’s official portrait)\, as well as bring attention to many who were not in the forefront\, such as Clara Driscoll\, the real designer behind the Tiffany Lamp\, and Beatrice Wood\, the “Mama of Dada” (and the inspiration behind the character of Rose from “Titanic”). The list even expands to women who were behind the scenes as gallerists\, such as art marketing genius Edith Halpert\, and iconic art patron/archivist Helen Clay Frick.
