Wainwright House is excited to welcome back Steph Loewenthal of The Modern Mahj for a special two-part beginner series designed for first-time players and anyone looking for a refresher before joining open play with confidence. \nOver the course of two sessions\, participants will learn the foundations of American Mahjong in a relaxed\, supportive environment while building familiarity with the flow\, language\, and etiquette of the game. \nSteph will guide participants through:\n– Tile identification\n– Game setup and flow\n– Rules of play\n– How to read the National Mahjong League card\n– Guided gameplay and beginner strategy \nEach participant will also receive a Mahjong 101 Quick Guide to support continued play at home. \nSeries Dates: Tuesday\, June 2 & Wednesday\, June 10 | 9:30–11:30 AM \nPlease note: This is a two-part series and participants should plan to attend both sessions. \nSpace is limited to 16 players.
