DESCRIPTION:Saw Mill River Audubon Small Group Birding Walk –by registration. Meet in back of Playland parking lot beside Playland Lake to start\n\n\n\n\nPlease note the 7:00 am start time. Meet in back of Playland parking lot by Playland Lake to start\, not at Edith Read Sanctuary. Arrive at least 10 minutes before walk start. \nGood for all levels of birding experience. Beginners very welcome! Walks are for adults and youth age 8 or older. Let us know in advance if you want to borrow binoculars by emailing us at: office@sawmillriveraudubon.org \n* * * \n—> IMPORTANT: if you do not get a confirmation email\, check your spam or trash folder and then email us: office@sawmllriveraudubon.org \nWe will also send a reminder email a week before this event\, repeating the information in the confirmation email. \n* * * \nIt is important that you cancel your walk reservation if your plans change. Then we can offer your spot to someone on the waiting list. \n* * * \nWait listed people will be notified if a space becomes available\, in order of registration date & time. \nWEATHER NOTE We typically go rain\, snow or shine except if very low temps\, heavy precipitation or high winds are forecasted and/or if travel is not advised. \nIf we cancel a walk\, we will send an email two hours before the scheduled walk and post the cancellation on our website’s Google calendar here: https://www.sawmillriveraudubon.org
