DESCRIPTION:The biggest Holi celebration in Westchester and Fairfield comes to Roger Sherman Baldwin Park in Greenwich on Saturday\, May 2\, 2026\, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. India Cultural Center’s largest community event features live musicians\, a DJ\, interactive dance performances and workshops\, cricket\, badminton\, henna\, a YMCA Kids’ Zone\, and Food Zone sponsored by the Law Offices of Ayesha Chaudry. Participants each receive a free white t-shirt to wear for the massive color throw. Middle and High Schools students are needed to volunteer to help with setup\, registration\, and the color throw. ICC is a nonprofit and students earn community service.

This feel-good community event is a “color run” where kids in grades K-6 are doused with a rainbow of holi-powder as they make their way around the .9-mile course. \nThe Rye PBA has been the event’s Platinum sponsor since the inaugural run in 2019\, and many of Rye’s finest lead the charge in tossing buckets of the colorful powder on the young participants. \nWe have lots of teen volunteer opportunities for this event! DESCRIPTION:Spring is in the air as The Osborn announced its Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Saturday\, March 30\, 2024\, on the senior living community’s beautiful campus in Rye (101 Theall Road). This popular annual event is held in memory of The Osborn’s longtime board member and former Chair\, Jack Miller. \nDuring the fun-filled morning\, an extravagant bounty of 6\,000 candy-filled Easter eggs will be hidden for children to find\, gather and enjoy. The Easter Bunny will be on hand and available for photos. The festivities also feature carnival games and refreshments available for purchase. \nResidents of The Osborn gather to watch the Egg Hunt from the sidelines of the South Lawn and Porch\, giving seniors and children a chance to share the excitement. For nearly two decades\, this event has been drawing hundreds of participants from all over Westchester County as well as southern Fairfield County\, Connecticut. \nThe Osborn Easter Egg Hunt is free and open to the public and pre-registration is NOT required.
