The church will have nearly 300 Fraser firs\, Douglas firs and Concolor trees from a family farm in Pennsylvania for sale at 2 Rectory Street. \nThe sale was started years ago as a fundraiser by parishioners Francis and Nicole Jenkins. The net proceeds of the sale help to support many of the Christ’s Church outreach programs\, including the Youth Grantmaking Board\, Blues Skies summer camp\, Meals on Main Street\, Dinners at Noon at the Carver Center\, Port Chester Immigrant Defense\, 5 Steps to Five\, and Helping Hands.

The church will have nearly 300 Fraser\, Douglas and Concolor trees from a family farm in Pennsylvania for sale at 2 Rectory Street. \nThe net proceeds of the sale help to support many of the Christ’s Church outreach programs\, including the Youth Grantmaking Board and the Blues Skies camps.

DESCRIPTION:The internationally celebrated organist David Briggs (artist-in-residence at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine\, NYC) will perform a concert at Christ’s Church at 5 p.m. on Sunday\, November 20\, after accompanying the choirs earlier in the day during the 10 a.m. service (www.ccrye.org/briggs). \nThe afternoon concert will feature music by Liszt and Duruflé\, as well as Briggs’s own transcriptions of orchestral works by Bach\, Ravel and Tchaikovsky\, and an improvisation on a chosen theme. Dancers from the Rye Ballet Conservatory will join Briggs to perform movements from The Nutcracker. \nThe Rye Women’s Interfaith Committee will host a reception in the parish hall afterwards and will collect non-perishable food items for its Thanksgiving food drive.
