DESCRIPTION:The Right to Read shares the stories of an activist\, a teacher\, and two American families who fight to provide our youngest generation with the most foundational indicator of lifelong success: the ability to read. \nAccording to the most recent National Assessment of Education Progress (NAEP) study on student achievement in literacy—or the “Nation’s Report Card\,” 37% of America’s children were reading below basic level.
