Anyone who lives in Rye knows the real estate market is still running at a fever pitch. If I did not know any better, I’d start thinking my neighbors drive Caterpillar Tractors to work (because of all the tear-downs).
Joan O’Meara of Coldwell Banker recently sent along a scorecard of sorts for Rye real estate in 2005. Here are some 2005 year-end highlights: 175 Homes Sold; Average List Price $1,910,393; Average Sold Price $1,803,359.
Q4 was even tighter with 38 homes sold; Average List Price $2,067,110; Average Sold Price $1,894,923.
Prices ranged from 11 Garden Lane at $544,900 to 9 Pine Island Road at $15,500,000.
