MyRye.com is a web site with observations about Rye, New York. We write about all things Rye — events, government, history, schools, outdoors, people, real estate, restaurants and more. Rye is a suburban community of 15,000 people 25 miles north of New York City on the shores of the Long Island Sound.
The web site began publication in January 2006 and currently averages 5,000 – 10,000 readers each month. Our web site welcomes comments (readers can comment on any and all stories by clicking on the “Comments” button found at the bottom of every story). We also welcome article contributions by citizens, elected officials and community organizations. All submissions must be directly relevant to the Rye community.
Jay Sears (Publisher). MyRye.com is published by Jay Sears, a Rye resident. Jay, his wife Lauren Rosen and their three boys live in the Bradford Park section of Rye.

Pamela Baur (social scene). Pamela Baur has enjoyed living in Rye since 2007. She is an avid yogi, children’s yoga instructor and works for lululemon athletica.
Diana Tapper (restaurants). Diana has been trying out Rye area restaurants since her move in early 2006 and has coordinated the Dining Around Town group for the Rye Newcomers and Neighbors Club for two years.
