STOP, Keep’in It Green, Hugging—Items on the Agenda for City Council Meeting Monday, September 27, 2010

The city council's agenda for its special meeting on Monday, September 27, 2010 is out. The Council will convene at 7:00 p.m. and it is expected they will adjourn into Executive Session at 7:01 p.m. to discuss personnel matters.

Citizens get to participate at 8:00pm in the Council Room at Rye City Hall or on Cablevision Channel 75 and Verizon Channel 39. We'll also see you on the Internet (next day) at http://rye.peg.tv.

Let's check the batting order and highlights from the eight agenda items.

  • Landlords Unite. Resolution removing the ETPA from 151 Purchase Street nunc pro tunc to February 24, 2006 in accordance with the settlement.

  • Jim Amico Will Be There. Review of the Purchase Street Stop-Sign pilot program and improvements at Locust Avenue intersection.

  • Keep'in it Green. Discussion regarding developing a Citizens of Rye Sustainability Plan.

  • _______ Huggers. Discussion of CC/AC recommendations on revisions to the City tree ordinance.

The next regular meeting of the City Council will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at
8:00 p.m.
