Rye Playland July 4th Fireworks Schedule – 2011

Make your plans now for fireworks at Rye Playland.

Rye Playland fireworks displays over Long Island Sound will take place Friday, July 1st; Sunday, July 3rd and Monday, July 4th. All shows start at 9:15 p.m. Parking is $5 weekdays and $7 weekends and $10 on July 4.

After this weekend, fireworks displays will take place every Wednesday and Friday evening through September 2nd.

Remember to avoid Playland Parkway if you are driving – use the Boston Post Road and other local roads to avoid Playland Parkway entirely. Playland Parkway usually backs up all the way to Exit 19 on I-95.

You can also skip paying entrance fees and watch the fireworks from the beach boardwalk or the grass embankments leading down to the Playland parking area.

Enjoy the show.
