10 PM Alert: Blind Brook at Top of Bowman Ave Dam. Rainfall Lighter, But Flooding Possible. Move Cars to High Ground/Prepare

Rye City Alert, 10pm Tuesday 9/6/2011:

The Blind Brook has reached the top of the Bowman Avenue dam. The latest weather reports indicate that rainfall has decreased, so the likelihood of flooding is uncertain, but at this time we advise residents to move vehicles to higher ground and begin taking precautions for the possibility of flooding. We will be monitoring conditions.
