The city council's agenda for its meeting on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 is out.
There will be a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Rye on Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at 8:00pm in the Council Room of
City Hall. The Council will convene at 7:00 p.m. in Executive Session to discuss personnel issues.

- People's Budget. Presentation of the Citizen’s Budget: 4-year Financial Plan.
- Mayor's Budget. Mayor and Council amendments to the proposed 2013 City of Rye Budget.
- Overriding the Cap. Public Hearing to adopt a Local Law to override the State enacted tax levy limitation.
- Open Mic. A Crowd Favorite. Residents may be heard on matters for Council consideration that do not appear on the agenda.

Why not . With astronomical taxes already destroying Rye’s overburdened homeowners , lets see if we can get sneaky and find a way around the tax caps that a Democrat put in place to try and stop further attacks on NY State property owners ! I mean god forbid our sacred cow unionized employees and teachers stop demanding pay raises and benefits increases no private sector taxpayers will ever see .
