To celebrate this taste of the season at Rye's Down to Earth Farmers Market, Chef Gavin Pritchard will demonstrate an easy and delicious corn salad recipe. All are invited to stop by the manager's tent from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, sample his recipe, and then find all the ingredients at the market.
Pritchard is the Culinary Director at The Blum Center for Health, and in this role, he both directs BlumKitchen and serves as a nutritionist at the Center. He has the unique ability to work with his clients on personalized nutrition and menu planning, and then take them into the kitchen, too.
After shoppers are inspired by his seasonal recipe, the farmers market is full of fresh, local produce, pasture-raised meats and poultry, eggs, artisanal breads and baked goods, cheese, pickles, prepared foods, and more. The market is located in the parking lot behind the Purchase Street stores and held every Sunday from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm.
