NY State Program for Sandy Recovery Holds Meeting in Rye Tonight

The NY State program designed to aid in the ongoing recovery from Hurricanes Sandy and Irene and Tropical Storm Lee is holding an open meeting tonight, Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Rye City Hall:

The public may attend and listen to the Planning Committee meetings to become more informed about the planning process. While opportunities to speak at the meeting may be limited, the public will be invited to actively participate in future public engagement events.

The New York Rising Community Reconstruction Program has been established to provide additional rebuilding and revitalization assistance to Communities severely damaged by Hurricanes Sandy and Irene and Tropical Storm Lee. To facilitate community redevelopment planning and the resilience of Communities, the State has established the New York Rising Community Reconstruction Program and has allocated $25 million for planning in the most affected communities.
