"RYE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) — Police in Westchester County are investigating a possible gun scare at a middle school.
The principal at Rye Middle School was informed that a student brought a gun on campus in a backpack, the Rye City School District superintendent confirmed to CBS 2.
It reportedly happened after classes Friday.
The principal did not learn of the incident until Monday and called police."
