The Rye YMCA is back open and running on an emergency generator for power. All facilities are open:
"Update – April 7, 2015 @ 8:45 am
We are pleased to report that the emergency generator we ordered has been installed and is operational.
We are now open. All programs and classes scheduled to start as of 9:30 am will run. The current temperatures of the pools are fine.
We have ordered a part for the permanent repair of our electrical system. When that part arrives later this week, we will have to temporarily shut down the electricity to install it. We will keep you updated on the timing of this, with as much notice as possible."
