We've Got Pooch Paperwork People:
New York State requires all dogs over the age of (4) months to be licensed. Dog licenses are issued in the City Clerk's Office by mail or in person.
Requirements for dog license are:
Proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination
Name of manufacturer and batch number or rabies vaccine
Date of vaccination and expiration
Fees for license:
- $15.00 for altered dogs
- $23.00 for unaltered dogs
In addition, The City Clerk's office issues "Off-Leash Permits" for Rye Town Park. There is no fee for Off-Lease Permits this year.
