Sound like turf issues at Rye Golf Club have members looking for a "club with benefits":
From tomorrow's special city council meeting on modifying membership benefits at the golf club to clearly placate the golfers:
"Due to turf issues on the Rye Golf Club putting greens, Rye Golf Club General Manager Jim Buonaiuto has proposed the following temporary arrangements for members at no charge until the greens return to playable conditions:
1) Golf Only memberships would be allowed limited use of the pool.
2) Weekday Golf memberships would be allowed to play on the weekend.
The 2015 Adopted Fees and Charges for the Rye Golf Club Enterprise Fund must be amended
to reflect these revised charges.
The City Council has called a Special Meeting for Friday, June 19, 2015 at 8:00am in Council Chambers at City Hall.
