TONIGHT at Rye Library: Trees in Trouble Film and Discussion

Tonight, February 2, 2017 at 7pm at the Rye Free Reading Room there is a program Protecting Our Trees: Trees in Trouble Film and Discussion.

Trees-in-trouble

The Rye Sustainability Committee, Rye Garden Club and experts from Bartlett Tree will show the 30-minute documentary film, Trees in Trouble: A Documentary Film About America’s Urban Forests and then lead a discussion with certified arborist Frazer Pehmoeller.

Pehmoeller has been caring for Westchester’s trees for the past 27 years. He will discuss the specific threats he sees in our area and will speak further on the actions suggested in the film which we as a community can take.

The event is in the Meeting Room.

No word if the Lorax will be in attendance.
