It is just a-maize-ing that prior to ‘13 the YORKTOWN HUSKERS never germinated on the Garnets schedule on the gridiron. Ever since a rivalry kindled and grew increasingly intense. The Green and White got their revenge last season breaking into the win column, but Rye still controls the farm at 4-1-0 (.800). I guess one could say generally speaking that rye has harvested corn.
In a season where the Garnets have the northern tier Tuskers (Somers) and Huskers (Yorktown) as cross-over games, these two figure to be the toughest match-ups for ‘17. HARVEST THE HUSKERS ! ! ! HARVEST THE HUSKERS ! ! !
