Rye FD Free CPR Class – Saturday, September 8, 2018

Rye fd cpr

Rye FD is running its free CPR class again this year:

September 11th National Day of Service and Remembrance takes place every September 11th (since 2002). This effort first established the inspiring tradition of engaging in charitable service on 9/11 as an annual and forward-looking tribute to the 9/11 victims and survivors.

For the fourth year, the Rye Professional Firefighters Local 2029 will hold a free Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) class for members of the public who have never received CPR education before. What better way to give back to your community than to learn a skill that could one day save someone's life.

Space is limited, please fill out the form below if you meet the criteria.

In order to sign-up you must meet the following criteria:

1. Have not taken a CPR class in the last 5 years.

2. You are NOT a member of an emergency services department (fire, police, or EMS).

3. Must be at least 12 years old.

4. You are physically able to provide CPR.

If you meet the criteria, go to www.local2029.com and click on "CPR Sign-up" tab to fill out the form. If you have any questions, email iaff2029@gmail.com
