MyRye.com features dogs and cats that are up for adoption by Pet Rescue, a no kill pet shelter in Harrison.

Shirley
Status: Adoptable
Age: 3.6
Breed: Bull Terrier
Gender: Female
Adult size: Small (35 lbs & under)
Weight: 30

Shirley is a lovely, goofy 3 and a half year old Bull Terrier mix and weighs around 30 pounds. True to her breed, she is a clown. Shirley is sweet, smart, loves people, learns quickly, and wants to please. She is currently working on manners training as she can be a bit nibbly . She loves long walks, and playtime after which she settles down nicely. Shirley should go to an adult only home where she is the only dog, unless she gets adopted with her brother Travis, who she loves to play with. She will thrive in a home that provides structured exercise. Please come and meet Shirley. You are sure to fall in love.

If you want to meet Shirley, or any of the other dogs or cats at Harrison's Pet Rescue, you can learn more about the adoption and foster processes, email (nypetrescue@gmail.com) or call ((914) 835-3332). The shelter is located at 7 Harrison Avenue in Harrison. You can also volunteer at the shelter.
