Dear RMS Families, Faculty and Staff-

I apologize for the extremely short notice. We have just learned of an individual who is COVID-19 positive at Rye Middle School; the individual was last in the building on Thursday and Friday, January 14 and 15. As a result we must dismiss students early for today. All students will be dismissed at 11:00 a.m. Beginning with 7th period (at 12:24 p.m.), all students will attend school remotely; all teaching will be done remotely.

We will provide more information as soon as we are able. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Eric Byrne, Ed.D.

Superintendent of Schools
