Bambi Down. November 5. I-287 – Midland Avenue. Animal Struck By MV. REPORT OF A DEER THAT WAS STRUCK BY A VEHICLE THAT LEFT THE SCENE. CONDITION CLEARED BY DPW. 10-98.

Concrete Problem, Need to Cement Solution. November 6. Hawyard Place. City Code Violation – CW Construction Work. CALLER STATES THAT THERE IS CONSTRUCTION WORK TAKING PLACE BEFORE 10 AM AT THE ABOVE PROPERTY. SPOKE TO FOREMAN OF ANCHOR CONCRETE COMPANY, WILL STOP CONSTRUCTION TILL 10 AM, 98.

That Blows. November 6. Julian Street. City Code Violation – Leaf Blowers. 2 BACKPACK LEAF BLOWERS IN USE. BLUE LAWN INC. 10-95.

That’s Just Plain Cold. November 6. 125 Central Avenue. Utility-All Other. caller reports no heat for the building. building inspector was called, voice mail left. contacted Christian Miller, left voice mail, along with lenihan.

Evac. November 6. 22 Elm Street. Assist Rye Fire Department. call from Rye fire need to evac building. ASSISTED RYE FD AND CONED, POWER SHUT DOWN TO BUILDING, STREET
REOPENED, 98.

No Bones About It. November 7. Grace Church Street. Dog Complaint. CALLER REPORTS THAT THERE ARE THREE DOGS IN THE YARD OF THE ABOVE PROPERTY THAT ARE BARKING AND ARE DISTURBING HER PEACE. Spoke with caretaker at above address. I advised her that if the dogs are barking for a prolonged period of time they are in violation of City Code 133-2A, which states The keeping of any animal or bird which, by causing frequent or long- continued noise, shall disturb the comfort and repose of any person in the vicinity is prohibited. I advised complainant the same. Caretaker complied and will be keeping a close eye on dogs.

Bad Meal? Bad Luck. November 9. Purchase Street. Animal Complaints-Other Animal. CALLER STATES THAT THERE IS A DEAD HAWK IN FRONT OF FRANKIE AND JOHNNIE’S. to be disposed by DPW.

Hard Headed. November 9. Hidden Spring Lane / Peck Avenue. Assist Citizen. CALLER STATES THAT SHE RAN OVER A HARD HAT THAT WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD AND IT IS STUCK UNDERNEATH THE VEHICLE. ASSIST THAT MOTORIST WITH TRAFFIC WITH TRAFFIC WHILE HE CLEARED THAT CONDITION FROM HIS VEHICLE. 10-98

Logged the Issue. November 9. Port Chester Harbor, Long Island Sound. Nav Hazard.  At about 1630, removed log from channel in Port Chester Harbor.
