From the schools:

Good morning,

This is Dr. Eric Byrne of the Rye City School District. Due to snow-covered roads and hazardous driving conditions, all Rye City Schools are closed today, Friday, January 7. Many thanks to Mr. Toppo, Mr. Snowden, Rye High School student Mari Moerschen, the Rye High School Chorus, and Milton 5th graders for their assistance with this message.

Enjoy the snow and be safe.
