David Williams (1955 – 2022) was an active participating Rye merchant for over 50 years. Starting in his family’s health food store in his teens, he was a well known figure on Purchase Street. He also worked for the GiaQuintos at Rye Beach Pharmacy as manager of their natural health products section. He continued to serve until recently in Jerry’s Market and Liquor Store owned by the Maguire family. Dave loved music. He shared his love through his guitar playing. Dave will be remembered and missed for his kindness and friendly disposition.
He is survived by his sister Deborah Weik of CT and mother Joan of Rye.
