Over the holiday break, Rye Middle School eighth grader Elle Talbott was invited to London, England to perform at the New Year’s Day parade. It was a first for any athlete in the cheerleading program. Talbott was selected and featured in a co-ed stunt at the front of the parade performance.
Elle’s smile can be seen from a mile away.
“During our summer cheerleading camp, Elle was selected to be on the NCA (National Cheerleaders Association) All-American team,” said Rye Varsity Cheerleading Coach Melissa Stone. “With this recognition, there are multiple events around the world for the All-American team to attend. Elle is the first ever Rye Cheerleader to attend one of these All-American events. We are so proud of her and look forward to her future with Rye Cheer.”
