Have them unplug with mud with Clay Art Center’s one-hour virtual clay classes for ages 7 to teen via Zoom. Their instructors will guide your child through a fun instructional clay project that they will create from supplies that are available at Clay Art Center (Port Chester\, NY) curbside pick-up or through Amazon or Michael’s curbside pick-up.\nThese Maracas or shakers are not only fun to make but also become instruments for students to make music and sound with. We will discuss sound and how different objects make different sounds. Students will make clay balls to shake around inside the maraca as well as be encouraged to explore their homes for other materials that make noise.
