SUMMARY:Rye Children's Book Festival
DESCRIPTION:We are the educators that founded Rye Reads and the Rye Book Club for Kids! We recently orchestrated the 2020/21 Learning Pods for the Rye school community\, supporting our community’s academic needs during last year’s hybrid learning environment. We started with the belief that children’s learning should be affordable\, age appropriate\, structured\, and organized. If we could tap into a child’s natural curiosity and give them the opportunity to express themselves in a safe\, structured\, and nurturing environment\, they would develop the love of reading and an appreciation for all learning. We were right! To date\, our programs have helped many children in Rye and beyond become better readers\, better students\, and better community members.  We offer the best of today’s teaching practices\, combining academic vigor with social and emotional support. In 2021\, we relocated to our new\, larger facility. The Rye Reads Learning Center is located at 180 Theodore Fremd Avenue in Rye\, NY. We continue to expand and provide literary academic support to Rye and neighboring communities. \n\n\n1ST ANNUAL RYE CHILDREN’S BOOK FESTIVAL\n\nThe 1st Annual Rye Children’s Book Festival has been years in the making and is a natural extension of the work we are doing at the Rye Reads Learning Center.  Our goal is to celebrate and promote literacy in our community through a day filled with children’s author book signings\, read alouds\, parent workshops and a Family Pavilion filled with fun-filled family activities. \n\n\n\n\n\n	Related
