DESCRIPTION:Travel back in time at the Timothy Knapp House! \nThis outdoor Social Studies program is designed to help students think about life long ago\, when the Algonquian people lived in what we now call Rye. \nWe will investigate natural resources and consider how Native Americans lived off the land. We will also discuss the importance of storytelling for Native Americans and all cultures\, and will think about the link between natural resources\, ways of life and culture. \nThis program meets the fourth grade Social Studies standards but is appropriate for students in grades 3-5. \n\n\n	Related
