DESCRIPTION:.LawnChair Theatre’s 2020 summer production is “Like The Summer Sun: The Bard Meets the Beatles”\, a carefully curated collection of the very best of the British Invasion\, pairing songs by the Fab Four with sonnets and scenes from the English language’s most enduring playwright.”Like the Summer Sun: The Bard Meets the Beatles\,” will play LIVE at different Westchester locations this year — the Rye Reading Room lawn\, Crawford Park in Rye Brook\, and the Bedford Playhouse lawn. Now in it’s 14th season in Westchester\, LawnChair Theatre’s usual offering is a light Shakespeare comedy\, but this year they’re shaking it up by mixing Beatles music with Shakespeare sonnets and segments. All outside\, all socially responsible.
