Hot Application, $19K for Holiday Lights: Rye City Council Agenda for Wednesday, July 17, 2024

The city council’s agenda for its meeting at 6:30pm on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 is out. The meeting will also be aired on Cablevision Channel 75 and Verizon Channel 39. We’ll also see you on the Internet (live and archive).

The Council will convene at 6:00pm and it is expected they will adjourn into Executive Session to discuss Playland Litigation and Clerical MOA.

Formal office hours of the Mayor and other officials have been suspended.

  • Checking In. Resolution recommending Westchester County Board of Legislators review and reaffirm, with updates, the Terminal Use Agreements of commercial airlines operating at Westchester County Airport.
  • Show Me The Money. Presentation of the 2023 City Financial results by Jonathan Gibbs of the auditing firm BST & Co, LLP.
  • Show Me More Money. Overview of 2024 Consolidated Funding Application and related grants.
  • Hot Application. Resolution of the City Council of the City of Rye authorizing the filing of a Climate Smart Communities grant application for $2,000,000.
  • Another Hot Application. Resolution of the City Council of the City of Rye authorizing the filing of a Climate Smart Communities grant application for $200,000.
  • Fixing Fremd. Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute a supplemental funding agreement with the New York State Department of Transportation regarding the Theodore Fremd wall.
