Rye Marshlands Art Exhibit Opens Saturday, February 10th
This art exhibit is for the birds. A new exhibit of artwork–paintings, drawings, sculpture and collages "done on-site or inspired by experiences at Marshlands" will be on display at Rye’s Marshlands Conservancy. The Marshlands is a 150 acre natural area and gem accessible just off the Boston Post Road between the Rye Golf Club and the John Jay House.
The exhibit, titled “A Different Point of View,” will be on display February 10 through the end of March. If we are lucky, maybe we’ll get to see some of the work from the Rye Arts Center’s (RAC) 7th annual Annual Painters on Location: Plein-ar Paint-out and Live Art Auction.
In addition to the winter art show, the Marshlands hosts a fall photography exhibit. For more information, call (914) 835-4466.
