Mitt Quits, Carey Keeps Going

Former Rye Mayor and the election analysis emcee John Carey is back this Saturday with his show, “Rye Pundits View the Candidates”. A new episode airs each and every Saturday this February on Rye TV Channel 76 at ten minutes after 9 am, noon, 3 pm, 6 pm and 9 pm.

Carey taped the show just after Super Tuesday. His guests include French submariner and independent Bertrand de Frondeville, former ad man, Rye Record scribe and Republican Jack Bowen and creative director, mystery writer, Purina O.N.E. dog food-namer, fellow George Bush Yale Bulldog and Democrat Mitch Silver. This motley crew of your Rye neighbors seems a lot more interesting than the average group of network nubs in the view of this writer.

According to Carey one of the more provocative issues that came up was "whether the incumbent President would have been restrained from invading Iraq in 2003 if he had been married to an out-spoken and persuasive spouse trained in an analytical discipline, well-read in history and with a razor-sharp mind."

Anyone interested in being a guest on the show should email  JnCarey (AT) westnet (DOT) com.
