2,800 miles & $200K to Save the Ta-Tas

You have to love a good cause.

This weekend 70+ Rye moms will each be walking 2,800 miles (40 miles each) as part of the Rye Sole Ryeders team in Avon’s Walk for Breast Cancer New York. They will be walking all around New York City and (most) will be tenting for the night on Randall’s Island.

(PHOTO: Have some sugar kids! – Sole Ryeders bake sale on September 20th during Rye Youth Soccer)The team, headed by captain Sandy Samberg, expects to raise $200,000. Last year 37 moms walked and raised over $100,000. It’s a double down this year.
