Rye PBA Needs Toys (For Tots)
The City of Rye Police Association is participating in the United States Marine Corps Reserve "Toys for Tots" program — and they need your help. Officer Mike Kenny, a former active duty Marine Corps Captain and secretary of the Rye PBA, is once again spearheading this year's toy drive.
New, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at Rye Police Headquarters (21 Mccullough Place, Rye– collection point is in the lobby at the front desk) 24 hours a day or at Rye City Hall (1051 Boston Post Road, Rye) during business hours 9:00am to 5:00pm. Anyone wishing to make a monetary donation may do so by making out a check for "Toys for Tots".
Last year the Rye PBA estimates about $2,500 in toys was donated to Toys for Tots plus an additional cash donation from the PBA and its membership. The toys go to a number of places serving children including the Andrus Children's Home in Yonkers and St. Joseph's Hospital and other children's hospitals in the Westchester area.
"Although the response for young children was good last year, this year we would like to see more gift items for the teenage boys and girls. This is an area that seems need some more attention," said Rye Police Officer Mike Kenny.
Let's help out Rye PD with this worthy cause.

Question –
Do any of the toys go to needy famlies in Rye?
