Playland Gets Funky: Art & Music This Weekend
This weekend enjoy the Boardwalk Arts Festival on the boardwalk at Rye Playland. From 10am to 6pm Saturday and Sunday the Rye Playland boardwalk will be jammed with artists and musicians. There will be over 30 artists and craftspeople.

Local Rye artists showing include Maggie Amico, Holly Rom, Meredith Elmore, Henny Johanna, Cheryl Selinka, Blue Monster (Marc and Cheryl Kozak) and Heather Patterson.
On 10am Sunday, event is being opened with a capella opera performed by Brooke Remsen, an Rye Middle School 7th grader who has sung professionally ith the New York City Opera (that doesn't happen every day at Playland…).
Westchester's Children's Museum will be present with some children's activities and the organizing group has a fundraiser for the Sole Ryeders with artist prints and a cd of original songs by performing musicians.
