The city council's agenda for its meeting on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 is out. See you at 8:00pm in the Council Room at Rye City Hall or on Cablevision Channel 75 and Verizon Channel 39. We'll also see you on the Internet (next day) at https://rye.peg.tv.The Council will actually convene at 7:30 p.m.* and it is expected they will adjourn into Executive Session at 7:31 p.m. to discuss attorney/client matters.
Office Hours of the Mayor on 11/03/10 will be held at 6:30 pm in the Mayor’s Conference Room
prior to the scheduled executive session.

- Nickel and Dime-ing You. Public Hearing on the proposal to increase the fees on meters and pay stations.
- Hiring Someone to Nickel and Dime You. Resolution authorizing the City Manager to enter into an agreement with Complus Data Innovations, Inc. to outsource the collection of parking ticket payments.
- A Bird in the Hand. Resolution authorizing the City Manager to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement with the Committee to Save the Bird Homestead to manage the Meeting House.
- Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Resolution to establish a City of Rye Sustainability Committee.
- Patronage. Eight appointments to the Sustainability Committee by the Mayor with Council approval; One appointment to the Recreation Commission to fill a term expiring on January 1, 2011, by the Mayor with Council approval; One appointment to the Board of Assessment Review for a five-year term expiring on September 30, 2015, by the Mayor with Council approval.
The next regular meeting of the City Council will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2010. A special meeting of the City Council will be held on Monday, November 8, 2010 for the presentation of the 2011 Budget. The City Council will hold Budget Workshops on Monday, November 15, 2010 and Monday, November 22, 2010.
