Osborn School Put in Lockdown: Robbery Nearby in Harrison

The Osborn School has been put in lockdown as a precaution, according to the Rye PD:

Armed robbery in Harrison; Osborn School put in lockdown mode purely as precaution; no danger; lockdown to end 1:15PM

The Town of Harrison has reported an armed robbery in the vicinity of Halstead Avenue and Harrison Avenue. One perpetrator may have been observed fleeing toward Park Avenue near the Rye border. As a result, the Osborn School was requested to enter temporary lockdown mode, purely as a precautionary measure. There is no imminent danger — this is purely a precautionary measure. We expect the lockdown to be lifted by 1:15 P.M."
