Boogie Man in Rye, All October – at Playland

You can subject yourself to the Boogie Man starting today through Halloween.

Located along side the Long Island Sound and behind the gated walls of Historic Playland Amusement Park in Rye, the Scared by the Sound Haunted House is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings (8pm – 11pm Fridays, 8pm – 11pm Saturdays and 7pm -10pm Sundays) in the month of October. It is also open on Halloween Day 7pm – 10pm and there is a Hardly Haunted Matinee — non-scary fun for kids under age 8 – on October 29th and 30th from 12pm to 4pm.

Now in its second decade of haunting, Scared by the Sound Haunted House has detailed and elaborate scenes combined with "intense startles and scares" to bring you the full Halloween experience.

The experience is not suggested for kids under 8 years old. There is a $1 off coupon available for adult admission.
