Wacky Winter Storm Hits Rye
It's way too early for these shenanigans.
A wacky winter storm hit Rye on Saturday, startling residents while toppling trees and knocking out power.
Because many trees still have their leaves (it's only October after all), the wet snow gathered on the leaves putting unusual stress on the trees and toppling many.
