With a week to go in its Toys for Tots drive, Rye PD has filled two giant boxes at the police headquarters lobby. Sgt Lou Olivier told MyRye.com "We took this box load of toys to the drop off yesterday.  This is box #2 this year out of the PD lobby.  As you can see, it is a large container.  It is now EMPTY and awaiting the next round of donations.  Christmas is just around the corner, so if anyone has been meaning to get down to the drop off, now is the time to do it!  There is a donation box at city hall in the main lobby, too."

Rye PD is collecting toys now through December 20th for the Marine Corps reserve Toys for Tots program. Local residents can drop an unwrapped, new toy off 24/7 at Rye PD Headquarters (21 McCullough Place, Rye) or Rye City Hall (1051 Boston Post Road from 9am – 4pm Monday – Friday).
