Just a few short weeks ago, it was Rye Town Supervisor Joe Carvin for US Senate. Now he is running for Congress.
Who knows what back room deal caused Carvin to bail on his US Senate bid, but he is announcing his conselation prize Monday morning – he'll be running for Congress against Nita Lowey. Check the Daily News story or his press announcement below.

Jay, do you really need to start the article off like this? If there is talk of a deal, then report on that and give us details. If this just speculation, is that the type of reporting you want to publish?
