The Rye Police Association Golf classic was created to benefit the Rye Police Association scholarship fund. The scholarship fund is designed to award scholarships to graduating Rye High school students and the children of our members who are entering or attending college. The Association members are proud to report that over the years we have awarded over $100,000 in scholarships to deserving students in our community.

The PBA continues to honor the memory of a resident and avid Rye Police Association supporter, Joseph Brendel. Joe’s tireless efforts and endless support helped make this Golf classic possible. in his honor, the Association created the Joe Brendel Rye Recreation camp scholarship fund. Money raised has funded
multiple summer camp scholarships for the Rye Recreation’s summer camp Program.

The cost of the outing is $300 per golfer. This includes 18 holes of golf, golf cart, barbecue lunch and drinks on the course followed by dinner and cocktails. Raffle tickets will once again be sold the day of the Golf classic up to the time of the drawing that evening. All proceeds raised from the raffle go directly to the Rye Police Association scholarship fund.

The Rye PBA is a 501/c3 charitable organization.
