Middle-Schoolers Will Huff It to School Wednesday
It must be Spring.
For Rye Middle School, this Wednesday is "Walk to School Wednesday."
RMS teachers Mr. Gouveia, Mr. Vodyanitskiy, Mrs. Garavanta and other teachers will lead students for a one-mile walk to school. Meet at Starbucks at 7:20am for a drawing to win a Starbucks gift card. The walk to school will leave Starbucks promptly at 7:30am.
Our spidey sense says this is shrewd marketing by Starbucks as the place will be jammed with RMS parents dropping off their kids for a healthy walk while they down mocha frappuccinos and a scones. We think Poppy's should get in on this action..
