At The Osborn Home, The Attic Expands
Miriam’s Attic at The Osborn Home will close briefly between July 15th and 30th to facilitate an expansion of its storage and display space. Look for a grand re-opening in August:
After four successful years selling gently used quality furniture and household goods to benefit The Osborn Charity Care Program, Miriam’s Attic will be renovating to enhance the storage capacity for the store and will be temporarily closed from July 15th – 30th. Susan Olson, Fund Development Coordinator at The Osborn, oversees the shop and promises the public will be invited to the Grand Re-Opening in August.
Due to the amount of goods donated to Miriam’s Attic, we are renovating to add more space for better storage and display. Miriam’s Attic, which is staffed by volunteers, is open to the public every Tuesday year-round and features quality furniture, household and kitchen items, women’s jewelry, scarves, and handbags plus much, much more.
Miriam’s Attic opened in December 2008 to benefit The Osborn’s Charity Care Program which serves those who move to The Osborn with little or no ability to pay for their stay as well as those who have outlived their resources due to illness or advanced age. The Charity Care Program also enables people who live elsewhere in Westchester with little or no ability to pay for their care to receive services from Osborn Home Care.
