The taxes are $368,090 a year. And there is not even a house on the property.

A historic 7.18-acre parcel of waterfront land in exclusive Parsonage Point in Rye has become available for a record $24 million. It is the most expensive land listing in Westchester County and the largest vacant waterfront property to be offered in Westchester in decades.

The location is prized for its open water views and its close proximity to New York City. Sale and rental prices continue to rise; a recent Parsonage Point property sale was the second highest in Westchester at $19,700,000.

The vacant parcel of land has been sub-divided into three level lots. It can be purchased in any one of four different combinations, ranging from the full 7.18 acres for $24 million to a single 1.64-acre lot for $8,995,000. Each option promises panoramic Long Island Sound views with beach and mooring rights—the ultimate setting for a luxurious dream home. Water, electric, and sewer hook ups are already in place making each lot construction-ready.

Loretta Rapisardi of Julia B Fee Sotheby’s International Reality and Sula Pearlman of Coldwell Banker are co-broking the listing.
