Two Workers Rescued from Rye Trench Collapse on Bradford Avenue (Updated)
Two workers on a residential construction site at 15 Bradford Avenue were rescued Thursday after a trench they were working in collapsed.

Rye Mayor Joe Sack told MyRye.com that OSHA is doing an investigation. No word when the investigation is scheduled to be completed. "The Rye fire, police and public works departments all responded quickly, and kept everything calm and under control during an otherwise frantic situation. As you indicated, the best news is that the two workers who were rescued apparently are doing well," said Sack.
