As the ’14 campaign curtain rises, never prior to the ’11 campaign had Rye ever opposed the LAKELAND HORNETS. In that sole encounter it was the Green and Gold who were stung and the Garnets lead the series 1-0-0 (1.000). This is the first time the Garnets have met the sister schools from Shrub Oak (Lakeland – 1st game and Walter Panas – 4th game) in the same season. STING THE HORNETS ! ! ! ! !
