Rye Bank Robber Busted: PD Report

The knucklehead who robbed the Webster Bank on Purchase Street the other day has been arrested in Connecticut.

BANK ROBBERY SUSPECT ARRESTED

On October 1, 2014 the City of Rye Police in cooperation with the Bridgeport, Trumbull, and the Suffield, Connecticut police departments arrested Jamar Jermaine Jarrett 26 years old of Bridgeport, CT. It is alleged that he committed the Webster Bank Robbery located at 72 Purchase St. in Rye on September 25th, in addition to three other bank robberies located in Connecticut. The suspect is currently being held in Connecticut awaiting extradition to New York.
